EURYTANIA - Prousos, Mavri Spilia, Mikro Pantavrechei, Via Ferrata, Canyoning in the gorge of Mavri Spilia and in the gorge of Vothonas !!!
VIA FERRATA & CANYONING BLACK CAVE
The gorge of Mavri Spilia is about 2 km from the village of Prousos. It is one of the most beautiful and impressive gorges in Evritania. It is named after the famous Black Cave which was a refuge for the inhabitants of the area during the Turkish occupation but also during the German occupation. What makes the Black Cave gorge stand out is the unique via ferrata route, the beginning of which is marked by the Black Cave.
CANYONING BOTHONA GORGE
The gorge is located between Karpenisi and Prousos. The route combines beautiful hiking and descending an imposing gorge with narrow walls.
PROGRAM
Departure Saturday, July 11 early in the morning from Athens to the enchanting Prousos !!
DAY 1 - Saturday 11 July
Via Ferrata - Canyoning in the Black Cave
We start with a beautiful hike reaching the Black Cave, we leave the path and continue in the gorge from a path that has been built on the rock (via ferrata). The route climbs into vertical rocks next to beautiful waterfalls. After the via ferrata is over, we will collapse into beautiful waterfalls.
DAY 2 - Sunday 12 July
CANYONING BOTHONA GORGE
The gorge is located between Karpenisi and Prousos. The route combines beautiful hiking and descending an imposing gorge with narrow walls. It has 11 impressive waterfalls from 3 to 25 meters.
ACCOMMODATION
CAMPING in a space that will be given to us by the community of Mikro Chorio (wc & water available). That is why we support the local community.
In case someone does not want to stay on stage, there are hostels in the village.
MOVEMENT
With your own means of transportation or you can travel with others to share the expenses. Ask us for availability.
