Hiking and Visiting the Fairy Cave
A few words about our adventure ...
Spring is the right time to visit the most fairytale and impressive cave of Parnassos, the Fairy Cave! The cave is located on the north side of the mountain near the village of Vargiani. The excursion starts at Livadi Parnassos, which is our meeting point. Following our experienced guide you will drive for about 45 minutes on a dirt road to approach the forest path that leads to the cave. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the lush fir forest decorated with spring wildflowers! The hike will last about 1 hour with excellent views of the valley at the last part of the trail. The entrance of the cave is located on steep rocks of moderate difficulty and you will be insured by our companion in the difficult passages. In the spring the cave still has enough water, the brave who will not hesitate to walk in the icy water will be able to visit 2 rooms! Stalagmites, stalactites and natural water basins compose a fairytale setting in which one can easily envision fairies enjoying their bath while singing.

Prerequisites:
- You do NOT need to have previous experience.
- It is a route suitable for children as well. (10 years +)
- It requires good physical condition and love for nature.
- Participants will drive their own vehicle suitable for a dirt road.

- 9:00 - 10:30 Driving with your own vehicle suitable for dirt following the vehicle of our companion - short stop at Katavothra Eptastomos
- 10:30 - 11:30 Hiking to the cave
- 11:30 - 13:00 Visit to the cave and break
- 13:00 - 14:00 Hiking back in the cars
- 14:00 - 15:00 Return by road to Arachova
Participation Cost: 40 € per person

* With the expression of interest, each participant is obliged to inform the organizer about any health problems and must have with him any medication that follows.
* The organizing company has the right to make changes to the planned activities, depending on weather conditions or other factors.
* The organizer reserves the right to exclude from the activity persons who do not comply with his instructions, who endanger the safety of themselves or the group and who in any way disturb the other participants.
* Minimum number of people 6 - Maximum number of people 30. In case the minimum number is not completed, the trip is canceled and the full amount of the deposit is refunded.
