Activity Description
Skiing around the mythical Stygos waters
After you arrive at Orias guesthouse, there is a first introduction and briefing on technical and general issues of the activities that will follow.
The next day we pick you up from the hostel. After getting the necessary equipment, we head to the base of the Kalavryta ski center at an altitude of 1,700 meters, where we prepare for our activity. After a short briefing, we have the opportunity to choose between two routes, depending on the skiing level of the group and the prevailing weather conditions.
From the base of the ski resort, we head west, towards treacherous slopes in the Helmos mountain range. We will end up at a mountain shelter and enjoy the amazing view of the surrounding mountain peaks of the rest of the Peloponnese, as well as the mountain range of mainland Greece to the north, having a picnic. Afterward, we will enjoy descending the slopes of Helmos on alpine skis, enjoying the view of the Corinthian Gulf.
The second day will follow the same pattern, with our initial destination being the ski center and this time we will explore the northern side of Helmos on slopes of greater difficulty both during the ascent and during the descent.
At the end of the day, we will enjoy a traditional treat and snack with a hot drink.

Day 2: Exploring the Western side of Helmos

Transfer back to our accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Exploring the North side of Helmos
We pick you up from the guest house. With our destination being the ski resort, we will now explore the North side of Mount Helmos.

Cancellation policy
- Cancellation 7 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
- Cancellation between 3 and 7 days prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
- Cancellation 3 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.
