8-day Sailing Cruise at Sporades

Sailing in the Sporades! A unique 8-day sailing trip to the large and small islands of the Sporades.

Starting from the port of Volos we sail in the blue waters of the Aegean, enjoying the beauties of the Sporades. Beautiful beaches, hidden bays, a green nature and the wonderful sea air generously offer unique images and experiences.

Our first stop is the quiet island of Trikeri, on the outskirts of the Pagasitic Gulf. Tharris, forgotten by time, is offered for quiet tours, exquisite tomato spaghetti and of course a relaxing bath. Leaving the protection of the Pagasitikos, we open sails and continue to Skopelos. Beautiful beaches, such as Milies, Panormos, Vromolimnos and Stafylos are waiting for us to enjoy! In the afternoon we arrive in Alonissos and moor in Steni Vala. A meeting place for sailors everywhere, Steni Vala, becomes a place of exchange and discussion until we all become a great company! Our next destinations are the island of Peristera, Kyra Panagia, the bay of Agios Petros. In Alonissos we do not miss to return to the Old Town of the island, from where we can enjoy the amazing sunset! Then we sail in the area of ​​Skopelos, where we dive in the famous waters of the famous Lalaria beach, while we visit the islets of Argo and Tsougria. Our trip leads us to Oreos of Northern Evia and Edipsos before we end up again in the Port of Volos!

Detailed program

• Day 1

Meeting at the main port of Volos and boarding the sailing boat. Meet the governor and welcome drink. Arranging passengers in cabins and crew supplies.

Departure at 14.00.

On the 1st day we sail to the island of Trikeri at the edge of the Pagasitic Gulf (16 nautical miles and about 2.30 hours). We make an intermediate stop in Pythos for a swim while in the afternoon we arrive at a "doko" forgotten by time. It is the perfect time to enjoy a rich seafood dinner in the tavern located in front of our mooring point. The island has no trace of nightlife, here things are very quiet !! We do not miss the opportunity to try the exquisite tomato spaghetti!

• Day 2

It is worth waking up early in the morning to enjoy the colors of the sunrise in this shady place. After breakfast on the boat we take a short hike to the special Monastery of Panagia. This is a place that was also a place of exile for women. The signs of history are visible all around us. We leave behind this special place and at about 11.00 we start with destination Alonissos.

By abandoning the protection of the Pagasitikos we can now discover the secrets of sailing and open our sails.

The beautiful and lush pine forest of Skopelos literally touches the clear blue waters on the beaches of Milea, Stafylos, Panormos and Vromolimnos… One of these beaches will be our next stop for diving, exploring the seabed and lunch.

Departure for the final destination of the day, the Steni Vala of Alonissos. An incredibly beautiful natural harbor. Classic meeting place for sailors in the area. Stories are exchanged, interesting discussions take place μαστε we share experiences until people from all over the world become a company all together at the end of the night.

We enjoy fresh fish in the taverns next to the boat, we hike on paved paths, we visit the Old Town and we dive in the water park… This island is offered for many unique experiences. If we are lucky we may be able to see up close the special inhabitant of Alonissos, the Monachus Monachus seal.

• Day 3

We open our sails for a route ideal for sailing, between Alonissos and the uninhabited small island of Peristera. When the wind and the sea allow it, we set off for Kyra Panagia.

The shades of blue in the crystal clear waters in the bay of Agios Petros are difficult to describe in words.

We anchor arodo, enjoy an incredible bath and then dinner with the colors of the west. Here we spend the night like modern Robinsons.

• Day 4

Morning dip and then! Breakfast!

Leaving the magic of the bay we continue to the north side of the island and the only entrance to the Planet, one of the largest natural ports in the Mediterranean. For many years the port was a stronghold of the pirate Porphyrogenitus. A refreshing dip here whets our appetite for a delicious lunch.

Then we sail to the next bay of the island, where there is a unique building of the island, the monastery. But we must hurry to reach Steni Vala. Arriving we moor the boat and leave for a visit to the Old Town of Alonissos. We do not miss to admire the unique sunset !!

• Day 5

After breakfast we descend for a stop in Kokkinokastro. A protected bay with beautiful red colors for swimming in its cool waters.

We have a light meal on the boat and depart for Skopelos, sailing along the coast of Alonissos.

In about 1 hour we reach Skopelos. Back to culture!

We enjoy the Aegean island atmosphere in the picturesque alleys of Skopelos. Here we have many options for shopping, food and entertainment!

• Day 6

Our day starts with a delicious Skopelos pie for breakfast.

Weather permitting, we can visit the rock of Agios Ioannis. This is where the famous wedding scene in the movie "Mamma Mia" was shot. We do not miss the opportunity to take a souvenir photo.

We continue our journey to Skiathos. On the way we stop for swimming and sunbathing on a beautiful beach on the islands of Argo and Tsougria or in the clear blue waters of the famous Lalaria beach.

We tie in cosmopolitan Skiathos. The island of Papadiamantis. On the main shopping street of the city, the old port and Bourtzi you can find everything.

• Day 7

After our breakfast, follow a walk in the city and departure for Oreos of Northern Evia. We make a stopover for a swim with lunch on the beach of Skiathos or Pontikonisi.

We reach Oreos. A small but beautiful port. Here there are many options for food, but also the possibility in a short time to reach the thermal baths of Edipsos.

• Day 8th

Early in the morning we start for the return to the Port of Volos, where we arrive at about 10.00am.
