Climb to Xerovouni! A wonderful mountain route in the heart of Evia!

Xerovouni in Central Evia is a continuation of the mountain complex of Dirfyos. Its highest peak, Portaris, reaches an altitude of 1,453 meters. Although "Xerovouni" has rich vegetation consisting mainly of pines, firs, beech, and chestnut forests.

Our meeting point is the picturesque village of Steni, from where we go to the starting point for the Ascent to Xerovouni in just a few minutes with our vehicles. We start our route enjoying the impressive view of Mount Dirfys on our left and Xerovouni on our right. The two mountains are awe-inspiring, as they are the highest points of Evia, with an altitude of 1,743 m and 1,453 m respectively. Then we hike on our path, in a crowded forest, rich in flora. Do not be confused by its name, as Xerovouni is nothing but "dry", since there are many springs and great vegetation of evergreen and deciduous trees! After a short stop at the Xerovouni Plateau, where we enjoy the stunning view of the surrounding peaks, we continue our climb to the top. As we climb the landscape becomes alpine with majestic rocks that embrace the top!

Our goal is to instill in our participants a love for nature and outdoor activities. All our activities are implemented with specially trained guides/escorts and follow all safety rules!

Cancellation policy

Cancellation 7 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
Cancellation between 3 and 7 days prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
Cancellation 3 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.

* If the activity is canceled by the activity provider (due to weather, non-completion of minimum entries, force majeure, etc.), the price of your activity, is refunded in full.
