Bushcraft in Kissavos - The art of living in nature, transfer from Thessaloniki 19-20 Feb.
Activity Description
An educational two-day event in Kissavos that will introduce us to the art and techniques of living in nature that no nature and adventure lover should miss.
What is Bushcraft?
The word bushcraft comes from the combination of the words bush (= shrub) and craft (= art, skill) and includes the knowledge and skills that allow long life in nature with the least possible equipment, utilizing everything that the natural environment offers us.
The training will be carried out by a partner of our company, specialist in matters of living and survival in nature and is divided into two parts: theoretical (Day 1) and practical (Day 2).
In the theoretical part we will talk in general about survival (survival pyramid, survival kit, etc.), the basic elements that will ensure it (fire, shelter, water, etc.), and its psychology.
In the practical part, we will learn techniques for starting a fire, collecting water and we will have the opportunity to visit an improvised wooden shelter.
