Day cruise to Aegina - Agistri and Corinth Canal crossing
Activity Description
Hop aboard our comfy ship, ANNA II, for a fantastic day trip starting from Isthmia port. We'll explore two lovely islands in the Saronic Gulf: Aegina and Agistri.
Our ship is modern and safe, with everything you need for a great cruise. We'll sail on beautiful blue waters, and here's what you can expect:
Aegina:
We'll sail for about 2 hours and reach Aegina, a historic place. You'll have around 2.5 hours to enjoy. You can walk around and see old-fashioned buildings and pretty streets. You might even want to take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage!
There are two cool temples to check out: one is called Afaia, which is really old but well-preserved. The other is Agios Nektarios, a big church that's worth seeing.
Oh, and don't forget to buy Aegina's famous pistachios—they come in different yummy forms like nuts, sweet treats, and even drinks.
Agistri:
Next, we'll go to Agistri, a tiny paradise with lots of greenery. You'll have about 2 hours here. You can relax on sandy beaches and swim in the clear blue water. And if you're hungry, have lunch and drink your ouzo in one of the traditional fish taverns by the sea. In the afternoon return to the Isthmias full of beautiful images of the Corinth Canal crossing.
On the Way Back: Corinth Canal
As the day comes to an end, we'll head back to Corinth Canal. During the ride, you'll get to see the Isthmus of Corinth, a special place that connects two parts of the land.
