Farm Tour and Cooking Class in Sifnos Island (evening tour)
Activity Description
Our afternoon farm tour and cooking workshop is a unique experience, where you can cook and taste the traditional recipes of Sifnos and learn how our products are produced in the same way that people cultivated them on the islands many centuries ago without water use.
We will welcome you at 5.30 pm. at our estate, we will discuss our day's schedule and prepare for our daily activities.
Then we will walk to the farm, enjoy the garden, and gather the necessary products for the day's meal.
With freshly harvested produce chosen by you and your help to prepare it, we will create beautiful healthy dishes that taste great!
Returning to the farmhouse we will start preparing our meal: two salad plates, two appetizers, and two main courses. A choice of our local dry white or sweet sun-dried red wine will accompany your meal.
For dessert, we have a selection of fruits, depending on the season, such as watermelon, cantaloupe, pear, and apricot, all unique as they are grown from our own organic seeds.
For private lessons for groups only, the price is on request. Afternoon class 17:30-20:30
The duration of the cooking classes, including the time for your meal, varies between 3-4 hours. You can arrange courses for lunch or dinner. At the end of the lesson, we sit around the kitchen table to enjoy all the delicacies we have prepared together.
Throughout your visit, your friendly and welcoming attendant will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Please note that you can combine traditional cooking classes with other activities on our farm, such as gardening activities on the farm or ceramics in the workshop that operates within the farm premises.
Leaving our farm, in addition to the beautiful moments we shared together, you will also take with you a small gift from us.
