Activity Description

Milos is an island in the Aegean that you would like to explore. There are so many words to describe this beauty. Venus island, volcanic island, moon on earth because of many white landscapes, pirate island and so many other words. The uniqueness of the island is due to its different rock formations and it is famous for its beautiful beaches. The best way to explore the island is by catamaran because many beaches are not accessible by car or bus. 

Explore the island and enjoy the beauty of crystal clear waters and wonderful hidden caves. Experience unique moments of relaxation and adventure.

Itinerary

  • Departure from Adamas Port: 08:30
  • First Stop: Kalogries

Kalogries Beach is a very small quiet beach in Milos. In the past, it used to be THE place for sailors and fishers. The legend says that it got its name from nuns wandering around the area and the seafarers were seeing them. The special thing about this place is the impressive volcanic rock formations around it and the waters are crystal clear. The port of the area is considered windless and the waters are shallow.

  • Second Stop: Kleftiko

While cruising around Milos, you will meet on the southwest tip of “Kleftiko”. Kleftiko it’s one of the most beautiful rock formations not only for Greece but for the whole Mediterranean sea. It is the most photogenic place and the trademark landscape of Milos.

It is also known as the “Sea Meteora” by the Greeks. Meteora is a rock formation in central Greece hosting one of the largest built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries. Kleftiko, it is only accessible by boat and you will love it for sure.

  • Third Stop: Gerakas

Excellent beach under the caldera of the volcano, accessible only by boat. Sandy without stones and clear turquoise waters. Gerakas has huge sand slides, formed by Perlite which make it the main attraction of the area.

  • Fourth Stop: Poliegos Blue Lagoon

Poliegos is located between Milos and Kimolos in the Aegean Sea. It is the biggest uninhabited island in Greece! Here, you can find all kinds of wild natural beauty. Strange rock formations have been sculpted over time into the sea, impressive caves to explore, magical turquoise waters in all shades of blue, and volcanic hills.

  • Return to the port: Approx. 19:00

*In case of bad weather after Poliegos we are going to disembark in Pollonia. In case of strong north winds, we will stay in the south part. A vegetarian food option is available upon request. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. The use of alcoholic drinks is not permitted for those under 18 years old.
