And what do we need ...... a beautiful hike in our beautiful forest, Parnitha !!!
Parnitha is the largest and highest mountain of Attica. The highest peak has a height of 1,413 m, the length of the mountain is about 32 km and its width is 17 km and it is located just half an hour from Athens!!!
We hike in the forest, among the firs and pines, on well-maintained and easy paths for all ages without steep slopes and difficult spots. We quench our thirst, filling our water bottles from various sources, we learn about the flora and fauna of our Forest, with a view that reaches to eastern Attica and the southern Euboean gulf.
Our final destination is the Bafi mountain refuge, at an altitude of 1,161 m.
This hiking route is also suitable for beginners with moderate physical condition and for children aged 14 and over.

Meeting at 09.00 at the entrance of Bafi Shelter
Departure time: 09.30. Following is a 10.5 km circular walk (Bafi - Skipiza - Bilkniza - Lycoporia - Bafi)
Return time: 15.00 (return to the point of our initial meeting)
