Koiliomenos is a mesmerizing destination in southern Zakynthos that offers a breathtaking view of a mountainous landscape.

Our hiking journey starts in the picturesque village of Koiliomenos, where we first encounter a Gothic-style church and an impressive bell tower. The buildings that survived the great earthquake of 1953 transport us to another era and highlight the old, unique Zakynthian architecture.
Continuing our trip, we traverse dense pine forests, oak trees, and fragrant thyme bushes as we ascend toward the hill. From there, an astonishing horizon unfolds before us, offering incredible panoramic views. We savor the boundless beauty of the landscape, while our eyes gaze upon Mount Skopos, the Bay of Laganas, and a large part of the plain.
