Activity Description
Hiking Kefalovryso - Klaussi starts just outside Karpenisi, in the beautiful Kefalovryso. We follow a path in a beautiful fir forest, moving parallel to the Karpenissiotis river. During our journey we can make a short detour to visit the historic site with the monument dedicated to the hero of '21, Marco Botsari, who lost his life in 1823 in a battle against the Turks. We pass through the single-arched, stone bridge of Karpenisiotis until we reach the picturesque village of Klafsi. In Klausi we can enjoy coffee, drink, dessert or food. This hike is a gentle and carefree experience in the green nature of Karpenisi.
