Hiking Tour at Methana Volcano
Activity Description
Growing up exploring the area of Troizinia, Argolic and Saronic Gulf, we have become experts of the mountain paths of the area.
Together, we’ll hike through virgin pine trees forests, enjoying nature in all its forms and capture breathtaking views of the sea and the mountain embracing each other in a perfect scenery. If we are lucky enough, we will be able to see some turtles or goats along the way. Lots of local Greek plants and unique flowers will enchant our trips and color our paths.
Methana Volcano
On our hiking trail we will experience breathtaking views of the Saronic Gulf (Aegina, Agistri, Poros) and far views of Athens and Piraeus. The Peninsula of Methana has 30 craters and the one we are hiking on is the most evident. The paths along the way offer a unique combination of nature ‘works’ including beautiful lava landscapes. When we reach the top, we have the option to enter a cave of approx. 20 m high. Photos inside the cave are a must-do as the reflection of light creates unique scenery.
