River Trekking in Always Raining

The always Raining gorge is one of the most impressive areas of Evritania, ending in an area where it literally always rains. To get to the point with the waterfalls, we cross the mountain of Kaliakouda with Jeep and reach Krikelopotamos, from where we start hiking on the banks and in the river. During our journey the water can reach up to our waist many times.

After about 45 'we reach the impressive point with the waterfalls where we can swim. To get back we follow the same road and those who want can go up to enjoy the view of the impressive suspension bridge.

Via Ferrata & Canyoning in the Black Cave

Arriving on foot in the Black Cave, in Evritania, we leave the path and continue through the gorge from a path that has been built on the rock (via ferrata). The route climbs into vertical rocks next to beautiful waterfalls. After Via Ferrata is finished, we will collapse into 3 beautiful waterfalls (the tallest 15 m.) Through the gorge to approach the exit.

ACCOMMODATION

Camping in an organized camp, under the shade of the imposing peak of Kaliakouda, on the borders of the alpine zone and at an altitude of 1,400m, with complete infrastructure (kitchen/dining room, WC, shower, electricity)

• Arrival and preparation for the Via Ferrata & Canyoning activity
• Visit the Monastery of Prousos, built in a beautiful and imposing location formed at the edges of the mountains Kaliakouda and Helidona, on a rock with a magnificent view
• Return to camp and food
• Visit Karpenisi
• Return to the camp and rest

* Minimum number of people 7. In case the minimum number is not completed, the trip is canceled and the amount of the advance payment is refunded in full.
