Sea Kayak rental in Ithaca

Kayak rentals are available ONLY for experienced kayakers who can perform self-rescues or for kayak groups who will paddle with their certified sea kayak guide. We will ask the paddlers to show their qualifications as BCU 3 star award or similar. Kayakers can start from our base in Vathy Harbor or upon arrangement we can transfer the kayaks to any place in Ithaca with road access and we can pick them up from their final stop. 

The charge per kayak transfer is 10 euros. We can also have 4 customers in the car. If there are more people we can arrange a taxi transfer that will be covered by the customers.

Cost:

Single sea kayak:

• 24hours: 50euros
• Half day(return before 5pm): 40euros

Double kayak: 

• 24hours: 60euros 
• Half day (return before 5 pm): 50euros

Starting point for sea activities:

We meet at our shop in Vathy and we start most of the activities from there. For some kayak trips or snorkeling trips we can start from the North side of the island and we can arrange the starting point with the customers. We can also do the transfer of the customers from their accommodation to our shop at a low cost, upon request.

If there is a request to meet people away from our base in Vathy please make sure you have the following data:  height, weight, and shoe size for scuba diving and height and weight for sea kayaking to bring them life jackets, boots, and wetsuits that fit them.
