Try Scuba Diving (Shore Dive) in Chania

The Try Scuba program in Chania is your introduction to the underwater world!

The Try Scuba program is the easiest way to discover the underwater world and decide if you like scuba diving!

Important Information:

• This entry-level program gives you the opportunity to explore the underwater beauty, in a confined water setting, under the direct supervision of one of our professional instructors.
• You will get to breathe underwater and use scuba equipment on a shallow dive (max depth 10-12 meters) - as well as learn some of the very basics of diving.
• We start with the land instructions, which last for half an hour, and describe the basic scuba unit and the skills that the diver will learn underwater.
• We start with the theoretic part, which lasts for half an hour, and describes the basics of the scuba unit, how it works, how the diver uses it, the physics of diving, equalization, underwater communication, and the two skills that the diver will learn underwater( removing water from the mask and the regulator) and then we do one dive, maximum depth 9-10 meters for 40-45 minutes underwater.
• It is a half-day tour, that can be done morning or afternoon.
• There are no pre-requests for the diver, except the medical form that everyone has to fill in at the dive center before their dive.
• This program is about 3 hours in total.
• You will take a recognition card at the end of the tour which does not qualify you to dive independently, but it is a perfect way to decide if scuba classes are right for you.

• Every scuba or snorkeling experience we offer depends on the weather conditions, so sometimes the program and the diving places might change.
