Activity Description

The day is dedicated to the pleasures that one can find in Pieria. Dive and swim in the beautiful lake of Agia Kori, and the Byzantine monastery of Ag. Triados and the old Vrontos with the post-Byzantine church and the panoramic view towards Katerini and Thermaikos gulf. Our day will end nicely with a visit to the unique wine bar of Litochoro, where we will find award-winning wines from local producers. We will taste 3 different wines and of course, we will accompany them with separate dishes, based on tradition.

Program

In a place of unique beauty, we will follow a circular path of 2 kilometers with beautiful changes in the vegetation and we will find ourselves at the impressive podium with the beautiful waterfall, where we will have free time for swimming and relaxation.

Then we will visit the nearby stream and the Byzantine monastery of Ag. of Triada, which although abandoned has not lost its luster and their hagiographies are still alive! The point offers a unique view of the wider area of Vrontos. Then we will visit the ruins of the old village of Vrontos, where the village church still stands, an area with a panoramic view that you will not expect. After taking the last beautiful images with us, we will visit a small village and a vineyard that has a tradition of organic wine, with internationally awarded wine labels. We will have the opportunity for a small tour of the vineyard and the winery from the owner and at the end, his special hospitality awaits us with delicious meze dishes and 3 wine labels for wine tasting!

Cancellation 72 hours or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
Cancellation between 24 hours and 72 hours prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement
Cancellation 24 hours or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected
