Adventure in the Smolikas and Grammos Mountains: 2-Day Trip with 4x4 and Hiking!
Itinerary:
Saturday
- Departure at 08:00 for Grammos and Drakolimni Gkistova at 2350m.
- Hiking duration: 2.5 hours to the lake.
- From there, we will return for a picnic at Lake Arenes and then head back to Aetomilititsa.
Sunday
- We will visit the lord of Pindos.
- Our destination is Drakolimni and the summit of Smolikas.
- Hiking to the lake: 1.5 hours from the vehicles, plus an additional 1.5 hours to the summit.
- Total activity duration: 8 hours.
- Late afternoon return to Pades for tsipouro (a Greek spirit) and food.
General Information:
Accommodation will be provided in the local area.
- Departure from Athens, Corinth, Patras, Arta, and Ioannina by arrangement, on Friday afternoon.
- This weekend, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the view from the second peak of the country, the beauty of Lake Aoos, the vastness of Grammos, and the Drakolimni of Smolikas, the highest Drakolimni in the country (2,350m).
- We provide participants with trekking poles, waterproof gear, light snacks along the route, and personal insurance.
- Each participant should have suitable sports clothing, sturdy sports shoes, a small backpack, water, and any other personal necessities (e.g., a T-shirt, towel, etc.).
- Groups with their own 4x4 vehicles can also participate in the activity.
- In case weather conditions do not allow for an excursion, there is always an alternative program available.
- The cost does not include accommodation and meals.
- For transportation in our 8-seat minivan, an additional charge of €30 per person applies.

Cancellation policy
- Cancellation 7 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
- Cancellation between 3 and 7 days prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
- Cancellation 3 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.
* If the activity is canceled by the activity provider (due to weather, non-completion of minimum entries, force majeure, etc.), the price of your activity, is refunded in full.
