Ascent to Agapitos-Zolotas Refuge (2100m)
Activity Description
Our ascent to Olympus' most accessible balcony starts at Prionia at 1,100m altitude. The lively and well-groomed E4 trail will lead us through dense forests to Spilios Agapitos refuge at 2,100m altitude in the heart of Mavrologos area.
Along the way, we will stop at many openings of the trails that give us incredible views, but also many beautiful landscapes for photography.
After arriving at the refuge, which is the busiest in Greece, we will enjoy our coffee overlooking the towering mountain peaks and sometimes the beaches and the sea of Litochoro.
We are looking forward to enjoying the classic climb of Olympus together.
Hiking is aimed at hikers, nature lovers, and ordinary hikers who want to experience the exciting experience of climbing the Mountain of Gods.
Possibility to climb the highest peaks on the same day (Sklios 2,911m, Ladder 2,868m) upon request.
