Canyoning in Delfinakos Gorge on 4/21
Activity Description
With a breathtaking view and a landscape of incomparable beauty, the Delfinakou Gorge in Central Greece with its vertical and large rappels will raise the adrenaline to the vertical in every participant!!!
To find it, we will go south of Oita to the village of Delfino. A very small and beautiful village with an amphitheater view towards the valley of Sperchios.
Not far from the village we have the almost vertical gorge of Delfinakos.
The program is as unique as the gorge.
We start by walking in a small valley to reach the falls, then we have continuous descents of high altitude without any walking at all.
The railway bridge that passes directly above during our descents, together with the big rappels, are the must of the activity.

Delfino is a village in Central Greece and is located at an altitude of 560 meters on the eastern slopes of Oita.
The village is 18 km away from Lamia and belongs to the municipal unit of Gorgopotamou.
It is located west of Asopos and overlooks the valley of the Sperchios river and the plain of Lamia. The surrounding area is full of forests and meadows, while to the west of it a pond with a headland is formed among a wide variety of trees, which spreads over an area of about 100 acres.
East of the village there is the archaeological site of ancient Heraklion and the castle of Heraklion in the locations of Sideroporta and Tessaragon
