Canyons are deep cuts in the earth carved by water, streams and torrents, creating waterfalls and ponds. Crossing these canyons - canyoning - is an activity that requires climbing equipment, as well as special protective suits (neoprene) against water and cold, which of course are offered by VIA NATURA.
Nefeli Gorge
Canyoning in the area of Papigo and Rogovo pools is an exciting adventure that lasts about 4 hours and is suitable for participants of all levels, as no previous experience is required. Children from 5 years and above can participate. The canyon has 4 rappels and five jumps from rocks to water, with the longest rappel being 15 meters high. We provide all the necessary equipment for canyoning, but you must bring your own swimsuit and a second pair of shoes to keep you dry after the activity.
