Canyoning in Petalis Gorge, Central Evia

Once again, Evia generously gives us unique images with a small but one of its most beautiful canyons.
A new canyon for the wonderful canyoning community! The insurance was done by the experienced canyoning guides of our team.
It is a canyon with a total length of 2.6 kilometers, most of which is in the shade of thick-leaved trees.
It is particularly narrow, in some places it does not exceed 3 meters in width.
The route starts from the Tseligas tavern (292m altitude). After 300 meters of walking on the dirt road, the gorge begins (262m altitude). We immediately enter a shady environment and soon meet the first 9 meter high waterfall. With a relaxed and pleasant walk we come across 5 other waterfalls up to 7 meters high. In 2½-3 hours we will be at Petali beach after first having traveled 2.6 kilometers inside the gorge.
Petali beach is located in central Evia, near the settlement of Glyfada and belongs to the municipality of Dirfyon - Messapion. Geographically, it is located behind Mount Dirfys and is washed by the waters of the Aegean. Its orientation is northeast, the length of the beach is 190 meters while its maximum width is 60 meters.
Our return is made either by the 3 km long rural road using cars that we have left on the beach before the start of the activity.

Cancellation policy

- Cancellation between 3 and 7 days prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
