A hike in the core of the Vikos - Aoou National Forest, in the beautiful canyon, has earned a place in the Guinness Book, as the deepest in relation to its width in the world!
- Our hike starts from the famous Monodendri (1,060 m.).
- From the village square, we follow the well-preserved stone cobblestones with shaped steps on the verdant slope and descend to the river bed (670 m.).
- Between the imposing stone volumes, we continue on the path that will "lead" us to the unique beauties of the National Forest, will "get to know" its unique flora and fauna, will lead us through imposing and wild passes, vertical slopes, dense forests, glades, and cobblestones.
- In a beautiful spot where the springs of Voidomatis and the Church of the Dormition are located, we will enjoy a light lunch to gain strength. The brave will have the opportunity to dive into the icy waters of the springs.
- A winding uphill path, carved into the hillside with many steps will lead us to our final destination, the village of Vikos (770 m.).
Tips: The canyon was created after intense geological rearrangements during the geological ages. Until the beginning of the 20th century, the herbs of the gorge were used by practical doctors, the so-called "Viko-doctors", for therapeutic purposes.

- Cancellation between 24 hours and 72 hours prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement
- Cancellation 24 hours or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected
* If the activity is canceled by the activity provider (due to weather, non-completion of minimum entries, force majeure, etc.), the price of your activity, is refunded in full.
