A fun descent into the heart of Macedonian nature.
Between Meteora and Grevena, in an environment of unique natural beauty, the rivers Venetikos and Aliakmonas unite, creating the right conditions for exciting rafting descents for lovers of action and nature!
Meeting point, the rafting base in Felli, Grevena, where we are preparing for Rafting. We pick up our equipment and board our vehicles to be transported to the starting point of the descent. After a detailed demonstration of safety rules and descent techniques, we are ready to get started! Our route reserves many fun moments in a unique natural landscape, surrounded by sandstone rocks, similar to those of Meteora and forests with huge plane trees! We paddle between exciting 2nd degree passages and make stops for diving and playing in the water! During our descent we will have the opportunity to observe the special fauna of birds and mammals of the wetland, such as cormorants, herons and otters. At the end of our route, we meet again the vehicles that will take us back to the base, completing our beautiful experience.
The rafting descent takes place on the river Venetiko and Aliakmonas, at a distance of 45 'from Meteora and 15' from Grevena.
