Santorini Kitesurfing

LOCATION

Santorinikite is located in Monolithos Beach, on the southeast coastline of Santorini island.

Long & flat beach, black fine-grained sand, and consistent steady winds complete the picture.

It is an advantageous kite spot, spacious with excellent wind conditions all year long for kitesurfing, for beginners, advanced and free riders. Even when the wind gets strong and the waves swell for good there is also a secret small spot , also a highlight for the windsurfers of the island.

Manolis Kavvouras

A few years ago, during his travel to Cape Town, Manolis discovered the world of kite surfing. Enthusiastic and energized by pure adrenaline of flying, he returned to Athens and started kite lessons with a qualified instructor. He enjoyed kitesurfing worldwide and after several years, the summer of 2015 accomplished to found Santorini Kite School with Jim in Monolithos Beach, Santorini. Enjoying perfect wind, spectacular sand, and good company, Manolis prefers riding the waves. On your next trip to Santorini, you will probably catch him on the beach.

Theodoros Ntelopoulos

It was back in 2009 when Theo he first saw, and start practicing kitesurfing at his home spot Paralio Astros. 

From the first moment, he loved so much this activity, that he dedicated his life transmitting the passion of kitesurfing, by following the IKO International Training Course.

Since then he started teaching in different spots, such as Cabo Verde, Greece and mostly at the demanding Belgian Coast, completing successfully many hours of lessons and creating a big number of new kitesurfers. He enjoys surfing, sup, cable wakeboarding as well and as he says “no stress, just go with the flow”

He speaks Greeks, English, French, and Netherlands

Maciek Grzeskowiak

One of the youngest instructors Maciek is only 21 years old and a very talented kitesurfer from Poland. He has been surfing and kitesurfing for years and he is now an IKO Level 2.
Energetic and easy-going while teaching he can make you love kitesurfing from the very first minute. Poland, Italy (Garda lake), Greece and Thailand are some of the places he has been working for as an instructor.
Being very experienced he can teach windsurf, SUP and surf with the very same excitement. He speaks Polish, German and English.
