Activity Description
We take you on a trip to the hard-to-find places and away from the crowds for spectacular views and the excitement of traveling off-road in the unique natural landscapes of Southern Crete – all in one day!
The safari in Rethymno, both on and off-road, gives ample opportunity to enjoy the flora and fauna of rural Crete, remote traditional villages, and, of course, the chance to enjoy and capture the unforgettable landscapes of Crete. We enjoy a leisurely meal in a traditional tavern of the village of Ligres and we also visit the famous Palm Beach of Preveli and there will be an opportunity to swim in the Libyan sea and enjoy the Cretan sun. In this excursion, a driver is not provided therefore the clients that wish to participate in Discovery’s safari in Rethymno should be able to drive. In case of a nondriver please advise us so that we can arrange for you to go in a jeep that already has a driver.
