A few words about Xerovouni ...
Xerovouni is a limestone massif in Central Evia and is essentially a continuation of the mountain complex of Dirfi. Its highest peak, Portaris, has an altitude of 1,453 m. The vegetation of the mountain consists mainly of pines and firs and secondarily beech and chestnut forests.

In the afternoon we will start our journey in a crowded forest, rich in flora. Do not be confused by its name, as Xerovouni is nothing but "dry", since there are many springs and great vegetation of evergreen and deciduous trees! Then we reach the plateau of Xerovouni, where we will enjoy the view of the peaks and the imposing wall at dusk!
We enjoy the impressive view of Mount Dirfys on our left and Xerovouni on our right. The two mountains are awe-inspiring, as they are the highest points of Evia, with an altitude of 1,743 m and 1,453 m respectively. After a shortstop, we continue our climb to the top. As we climb the landscape becomes alpine with majestic rocks that embrace the top!
A magnificent sunset at the top awaits us! Prepare backpacks and cameras and come to a unique experience!
