Do you want two days with unforgettable experiences on the magical island of Samothrace?
Then come with us to experience canyoning by descending waterfalls, natural slides, and jumping in the crystal clear waters of the canyon.
Don’t sit after the activities! You have enough free time to explore the island.
On the first day, we will learn canyoning in Ano Karyotes, and on the second we have a lot of fun in the Fonias canyon. Our meeting is at 10 am at the port of Therma and then we go to the Ano Kariotes village and then walk 30 minutes to find the canyon. The route starts with some jumps in the beautiful lakes, followed by some information and basic training. As soon as the training part ends we start the descent of 6 beautiful waterfalls up to 20 meters, where is the last waterfall. For those who want to jump in the water, it has 2 ideal places.
It is an ideal route for beginners so that you can get acquainted with rappels.
The way back is a 10-minute walking trail. Easy three-hour activity to get to know the sport. The next day we will explore the Fonias canyon which is the most popular. Canyoning at the second part of the most famous canyon on the island. Beautiful and mild hiking along the river, followed by a slightly steeper 30-minute route will take you inside the magical canyon, with jumps, 1 slide, and 5 abseils up to 25m perfect for beginners. Route with plenty of water and offers special pleasure with water games. Low difficulty route with a total duration of 4 hours.
