Biking tour with an MTB at Marble Beach, Thasos

Perfect for beginners and intermediate riders!

• After completing the necessary check of equipment and e-bikes, we drive south.
• We reach the "heart" of the village and walk along the coastline.
• After traveling 3-4 kilometers we leave the Golden Coast and start our appeal to "Golden Sands".
• Once we cross the city streets, we soon reach our first climb, from sea level to an altitude of 340 meters.
• The route continues in the hills above the Golden Coast for the next 3 kilometers.
• As the route continues uphill, the view of the sea begins to unfold as we cross the left side of the hill.
• As we reach the 11th km of the route, we increase the effort to cross a slight uphill slope. Then the ride gets easier as we descend towards Makryammos.
• As we continue the tour, we again stroll along the coastline and soon arrive at Saliara Beach for our first short stop for coffee and refreshments.
• The landscape changes abruptly as we enter the colorful quarries. The now marble gravel perfectly reflects the sun, especially in the afternoon, and combines with the color reflections of the sea and the sky.
• We cross the coves and leave the small bays behind as we continue our return.
• We pass by Vathi and shortly we reach Chrysi Ammoudia again.
• The route becomes smooth as we gradually reach the end of the route. We continue slowly for the next 3-4 kilometers towards the finish.
• The reward comes with cold beers!
