Activity Description
- The most common program we follow, if you are coming from Delphi, is our meeting, on the way to Itea and at a point where there is a panoramic view of the olive grove, the Gulf of Corinth, and the Peloponnese (an ideal spot for photography).
- At this point, there is an update on the history of the olive grove. Time 20 minutes.
- We descend towards Itea and stop in the olive grove, to see the centuries-old olive trees up close and to talk about the processes of growing and harvesting the fruit.
- During the tour, you will have the opportunity to see the olive grove, learn about the cultivation of the olive trees and the collection of the olives, as well as their processing for the production of olive oil. You will be guided through the different varieties of trees and the production methods of olive oil.
- Depending on the season, we can also collect fruit from September to January. We spread a large cloth under a tree and let the guests traditionally pick olives. Time 40-60 minutes.
- We continue to Itea, where the olive tasting will take place, in a traditional family tavern.
- During the tasting, you will be presented with different types of olive oil to taste. You will be able to discover the different flavors and aromas of olive oils, as well as learn about the different methods of evaluating and tasting olive oil. We taste olive oils from different varieties and regions and discuss the benefits of olive oil for our health. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste olive oil and olives and learn about the olive oil tasting process and what they should look out for when buying it. Between testing the olive oils, we offer apple and bottled water to "cleanse" the palate so that the diversity of flavors does not get confused. Here are taste tests on different types of olive oils, combining them with bread or nut, green/black olives, and olive pate. Also, feta cheese with oil and oregano, for another classic Greek taste.
- All products to be tested (except the cheese feta) are available for sale. Time 90 min.
- If we are in the olive growing season (from November to January) you can, upon consultation, visit an olive mill and see the production process (free of charge).

- Cancellation between 24 hours and 72 hours prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement
- Cancellation 24 hours or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected
