The area of Filippiada is an ideal cross-country arena for cycling excursions as the impressive and diverse relief enables bicycle lovers to explore with special excitement this continental canvas.
Our cycling trip starts from the city of storks on the outskirts of the settlement Eleftherohori and crosses a path full of green, through the dense forest of Filippiada, the fertile plain of Thesprotikoy and the unusual Red Clay (Terra Rossa) ending up with an idyllic way to beautiful Lake Ziros.
On a verdant slope full of oaks and narrow-leafed ash, next to the lake, our excursion finishes. At this point, we have the opportunity to swim in these peaceful waters and silently feel the pulse. At an elevated point, you will find a lake’s café-restaurant to enjoy good food, coffee, and the incredible panoramic view with the mountains setting all around.
