Activity Description
Let’s discover some secret off-the-beaten-path destinations! Starting from your accommodation place, we will pass through the Agios Soulas forest on the way to Eleousa, where we will have a chance to see the abandoned Italian buildings and the Koskiniti fountain famous for its one-of-a-kind fish that lives only there.
After that, we will head to the Profitis Ilias and we will walk up to explore the ruins of the “Haunted House” of the Italian Governor. On our way to the famous for its wineries Embona village where we enjoy some locally produced wine.
After visiting Embona, through the Kiparisiou forest, we will head to Kritinia castle to enjoy the views of the nearby islands, the breathtaking views from above the cliffs, and the uninterrupted view of the South side of the island of Rhodes.

Itinerary
- 1st Part: Eleousa, Profitis Ilias
Our first stop will be in `ghost village` Eleousa village where we will have a chance to see the abandoned Italian buildings and the Koskiniti fountain famous for its one-of-a-kind fish that lives only there. After that, we will head to the Profitis Ilias and we will walk up to explore the ruins of the “Haunted House” of the Italian Governor.
- 2nd Part: Embona
We will head to the famous for its wineries Embona village. We will visit a traditional family-run tavern where they produce wines just for the local market of Rhodes. Wine tasting at its best.
- 3rd Part: Kritinia Castle
We will head through the forest to Kritinia castle to watch amazing views over the cliffs and enjoy the view of the other small islands!
