Activity Description
Small Prespa is the core of the National Park and, perhaps, the most beautiful corner of the area.
Agios Achillios is a small island in the heart of the wetland in Mikri Prespa. It is connected to the mainland via a 600-m-long floating footbridge.
Our excursion starts with a kayak from the small port of the island and following the shores we will go around the island, a distance of about 4 km.
After returning, we will visit the ruins of the Royal church built by Samuel II, the "Tsar of the Bulgarians" and learn about the ancient city of Lyka and the legend of the island.
