Embarking from Nestorio and tracing alongside the Aliakmonas River, we traverse through the heart of the Gramos mountain range. Passing through the enchanting regions of Glykoneri and Pefko, we arrive at Myrovlieti, then push forward towards the Sarantaporos Bridge. Commencing an uphill climb towards Arena, we finally reach just below the summit of Epano Arena.
Here, you will unveil a luxuriant beech forest, nestled within this planted woodland, housing the alpine Drakolimni Moutsalia, situated at an altitude of 1,750 meters. This experience is unparalleled, allowing you to relish the splendid beauty of nature in one of the most striking landscapes in the region.
Our journey proceeds along the Gramos ridge, granting a panoramic view of the picturesque village of Aetomilitsa. Subsequently, we make our way towards the meadows of Kotyli, the National Reconciliation Park, and the commanding and historic elevation of Spanoura, also renowned as "Haros." Here, you will encounter a breathtaking gorge, leaving you spellbound, while offering an awe-inspiring glimpse of the surrounding nature.
