3day Excursion in Central Evia - Agalis Gorge, Havos Gorge & Xerovouni on Oct. 28-30

The ideal proposal for the Three Days of October 28th, specially designed for adrenaline and adventure lovers with 3 wonderful activities in the "heart" of Evia!

• Afternoon Hike in the Agali Gorge - an excellent option even for those taking their first steps in the mountains and it is sure to impress you thanks to its special and rich ecosystem!
• Havos Canyon Canyoning & BBQ - narrow walls, impressive cliffs, unexplored caves and plenty of rappels up to 20m high.
• Ascent to Xerovouni - a route that combines dense fir forest and alpine landscape with majestic rocks hugging the summit!

Meeting: 16.00 pm Agios Athanasios, Evia

Activity (about 3 hours)

Afternoon hike in the Agali Gorge

Our route...

We will start near the village of Agios Athanasios and move uphill. We return by the same route back to the starting point.

• Degree of difficulty: 1 / 5
• Hiking duration: 3 hours

Conditions:

• You do NOT need to have previous experience.
• Basic physical condition and love for nature is required.
• Suitable for beginners and children over 8 years old

Food and rest

• Day 2: Saturday 29/10/2022

Meeting: 09.00am in Agia Kyriaki

Activity (about 4 hours)

Canyoning in Havos Gorge

The gorge of Havos is located in Central Evia and, more specifically, in the village of Kampia, a stone's throw from Chalkida. It has vertical and narrow walls sculpted by the elements of nature, impressive pedestals, unexplored caves and running water almost all year round!

At this time it is dry (no water) and is ideal for those who want to experience canyoning, even for the first time.

Technical Information about the Gorge:

• Number of rappel descents: 10
• Maximum descent: 20 meters
• Length: 800m
• suitable for beginners and children over 14 years old

14:00 After our descent we will enjoy a barbeque party with hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks and beers

17:00 Walk through the alleys of the villages for coffee and dessert

Ascent to Xerovouni / Hiking in Central Evia

An excursion for mountain lovers to enjoy another peak while hiking on a wonderful path in Xerovouni, in the "heart" of Evia...

Climbing information:

• Maximum altitude: 1,453 m
• Minimum altitude: 900 m
• Height difference in ascent: 553 m
• Altitude difference of descent: 553 m
• Hiking duration: 5 hours
• Difficulty Rating: 3/5
• suitable for beginners with moderate fitness and children over 14 years old

Conditions:

Basic physical condition, love for nature, appetite and good mood are required!

For accommodation, we can recommend accommodation in the area or campsites for anyone who wants to camp.

* With the declaration of interest, each participant is obliged to inform the organizer of any health problems and must have with him any medication that follows.

* The organizing company has the right to make changes to the planned activities, depending on weather conditions or other factors.

* The organizer reserves the right to exclude from the activity people who do not comply with his instructions, who endanger the safety of themselves or the group and who disturb the other participants in any way.

* Minimum number of people 6. In case the minimum number is not met, the excursion is canceled and the amount of the advance payment is returned in full.
