From the tranquil haven of Arnomousga on the slopes of Parnonas, situated at an elevation of 1420 meters, begins a captivating journey toward the summit of Megali Tourla, towering at 1935 m. Winding through dense forests of black pine and fir, the path leads to a serene plateau nestled amidst subalpine landscapes just shy of the peak. It is here, amidst the rejuvenating embrace of spring, that one can discover the Malevos tea, celebrated for its medicinal properties.
At this juncture, approximately 250 m below the summit, the group may choose to ascend further, guided by the collective spirit and weather conditions. Upon reaching the pinnacle, clear skies unveil a breathtaking panorama encompassing the Peloponnese, the Argolic Gulf, and the majestic Mitroos Pelagos.
Following our descent back to the plateau, a moment of reprieve allows for reflection before we embark on our return journey, carrying with us memories of the awe-inspiring vistas and the invigorating ascent of Parnonas.
